It never takes me more than a week to have a website up and running. Some customers want me to do everything, others want me to get the site going and hand over the keys for them to update the content. If the site is on my server I then look after security.
I never use third parties to do the work and I never use AI.
I would not call my charges “cheap” but I regard the expense as reasonable. Self build sites like Wix (premium version) are comparable. Squarespace is about three times as expensive.
A ballpark figure is £250 – domain name, web hosting and designer all thrown in. Some more complex sites can be more, but not that much more.
